Chair Yoga

This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting on a chair or potentially standing using a chair for support. Chair yoga is a great practice for all ages and abilities. It is perfect for anyone having difficulty descending to or ascending from the floor and/or when balance is compromised. 

Using a chair reduces strain on the limbs and joints. This practice promotes stability and flexibility of the body, self awareness and clarity of the mind, a sense of calm and balance of emotions and overall wellness. 

Class meets weekly every Thursday, 4:30-5:30 pm. Bring your own yoga mat, chair provided.
