Kid's Yoga - 6 Week Series

Jan 27 - March 3 , Ages 4-9
Join Julie as she leads this amazing series for kids! Children will learn all about yoga through yoga poses, group activities, and relaxation time. This mindful movement class will help develop life skills while boosting children’s self confidence and self-esteem in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Through practice of yoga poses, songs and cooperative games, children will get strong and centered as well as learn to focus their breath to help calm down in addition to other strategies to help with their emotions.
Cost: $60 for 6 weeks
2.1.19 - Core POWER Hour (and a half) - 90 minutes
6 PM - 7:30 PM
Let’s fire it up! This will be a vinyasa-style class focused on core-strengthening poses. Music and mood will be high energy. The practice will be about an hour and fifteen minutes, finishing with restorative poses.
This special class will be offered the first Friday of every month.
Bring water, a towel, and a great attitude!
2.3.19 - Relax & Restore, Extended
6 PM - 8 PM
Join Katie for a two-hour, extended Restorative/Yin yoga class with blended features of restorative, yin, and meditation. This class will focus on fully relaxing the body and mind, letting go of stress and tension, and tuning into the power of the breath. Each pose is a unique experience linked with breathing, stretching, and the use of blankets, bolsters and blocks to feel fully supported and relaxed, with added in hands-on-assist to help you surrender into each pose. When fully supported by props, the body is allowed to naturally release, achieving a state of active relaxation, relieving tension and providing an opportunity to renew and heal. Treat yourself this month and experience the sweetness and power of a Restorative, Yin, and Meditation blended class to bring you peace, calmness and relaxation! All level class, perfect for any student.
No prior experience necessary.
2.9.19 - Bring a Friend! Beginner’s Workshop
1 PM – 3:00 PM
Bring a friend and BOTH will receive discounts on packages paid for day of workshop ($5 off 5-class pass, $10 of 10-class pass)!
This workshop is designed to prepare a brand new yogi and help alleviate the worries of taking a yoga class. Taking a beginners yoga workshop is a great way to learn the basics geared for the beginner but open to anyone who wants to deepen their practice.
You will learn how the mind, body and breath work together in unison, allowing the benefits of yoga to arise in your body. Benefits including: increased strength and flexibility, cardiovascular and digestive health, and a sense of mental well-being.
- Class Types: A breakdown class type descriptions to find what is right for YOUR practice and YOUR body.
- Pranayama and Ujjayi Breathing: Importance and why teachers encourage and/or call your breath.
- Asanas (Poses): Sun A, Sun B series. Proper CHATuranga (Chest/Abdomen, Head, Arms, Toes) alignment/movement to avoid injury and soreness. Inversion exploration, back bends and hip openers.
- Yoga Materials: The necessity of the practice is you and your breath. However, we will discuss mats, props, towels, clothing and other items you encounter when starting your yoga journey.

2.17.19 - Family Yoga
5 PM - 6 PM
Come strengthen family bonds and create togetherness with a yoga class that’s specially designed for the entire family to benefit and enjoy. Yogis of all ages and abilities will share in the joy and peace that a complete yoga practice can provide. We will stretch and strengthen our minds and bodies through movement, songs, and yoga activities designed for the whole family.
$25 per family
2.17.19 - Sunday Candlelight Gentle Flow & Meditation
7 PM - 8:30 PM
Join Kelly for a special Candlelight Gentle Flow Yoga class followed by Guided Meditation with Heather from Serene Intentions. Bringing together your inner and outer strength, the physical body of yoga connecting to your inner self. Facilitated session of mindful breathing techniques and guided visualization meditation.

2.22.19 - Yoga Nidra
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping creating total relaxation for your mind and your body. The practice of Yoga Nidra has been found to reduce tension and anxiety through relaxation.
Each Yoga Nidra session will begin with a few basic yoga poses designed to help clear your mind and relax your limbs. During the second portion of the Yoga Nidra you will relax on your yoga mat while being supported by props and blankets for comfort. In your relaxed state, you will be gently guided through a series of visualization instructions creating the deepest possible state of relaxation while maintaining full consciousness. The class will end with a soft awakening and awareness of your session.
Bring water, a towel and yoga mat if you have one. Also, it is helpful to avoid eating a large meal approximately 1 hour prior to class time.
